Welcome to TheLaundryMart! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application (if any), and the laundry and dry-cleaning services (collectively, the "Services") offered by TheLaundryMart, located in Hebbal, Bangalore.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing our website, scheduling a pickup, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our Services.
OUR SERVICES
TheLaundryMart provides laundry and dry-cleaning services, including washing, drying, folding, pressing, and dry cleaning of garments and other articles ("Items").
Business Hours: Our standard business hours for pickup, delivery, and customer support are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week (subject to change with prior notice).
Service Area: Our services are available in Hebbal, Bangalore, and surrounding areas as specified on our website or at the time of placing an order. We reserve the right to decline service to locations outside our designated service area.
Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer or to refuse to clean any Item at our sole discretion, particularly if an Item is deemed to pose a risk to our staff, equipment, or other Items, or if it is heavily soiled beyond reasonable cleaning capacity.
ORDERING, PICKUP, AND DELIVERY
Placing Orders: Orders can be placed through our website, mobile application (if applicable), or by contacting our customer service. You are responsible for providing accurate information, including your name, address, contact number, and any special instructions for your Items.
Scheduling Pickups and Deliveries: We will endeavor to pick up and deliver your Items within the agreed-upon time slots. However, pickup and delivery times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, weather conditions). We will attempt to notify you of any significant delays.
Missed Pickups/Deliveries: If you are not available at the scheduled pickup or delivery time, we will attempt to reschedule. A fee may be applicable for repeated missed appointments.
Unattended Items: If you request us to leave your Items unattended for pickup or delivery, you do so at your own risk. TheLaundryMart shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of Items left unattended.
Garment Count: We will count and list the Items received at our facility. Our count will be considered final. You may choose to count your Items at the time of pickup and verify with our pickup personnel. Any discrepancies should be noted on the pickup slip. If you are not present during pickup and do not provide a list, our count will be deemed correct.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
Price List: Our current prices for various Services are listed on our website or can be obtained by contacting us. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the Services, typically at the time of delivery, unless otherwise agreed (e.g., for subscription services). We accept cash, UPI, and major credit/debit cards.
Minimum Order Value: A minimum order value may apply for free pickup and delivery. This will be communicated on our website or at the time of ordering.
Taxes: All prices are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other applicable taxes, which will be reflected in your final bill.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your order up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time without any charge. Cancellations made after this period may incur a cancellation fee.
GARMENT CARE
Cleaning Process: We use professional cleaning methods and high-quality detergents and solvents suitable for the type of fabric and cleaning required. We will follow the care labels on your Items where available. If a care label is missing or unreadable, we will process the Item using our professional judgment and experience.
Stain Removal: We will use our best efforts to remove stains but cannot guarantee the removal of all stains. The success of stain removal depends on the nature of the stain, the type of fabric, the age of the stain, and any prior attempts to remove it. Some stains may be impossible to remove completely without risking damage to the fabric.
Damage to Garments:
We exercise the utmost care in cleaning and processing Items. However, we are not responsible for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that may result in tears, holes, or color loss during normal cleaning processes.
We are not liable for damage to buttons, zippers, buckles, beads, sequins, or other embellishments. We will try our best to protect them, but they are processed at your own risk.
We are not responsible for shrinkage, color bleeding, or other changes to Items if the care label instructions were followed or if no care label was present, unless caused by our negligence.
Customer Responsibility (Pre-cleaning):
Please check all Items for personal belongings (e.g., cash, jewelry, pens, keys) before sending them for cleaning. TheLaundryMart is not responsible for any loss or damage to such personal items.
Please inform us of any special care requirements, valuable items, or items with a high risk of damage.
You agree that your garments are suitable for standard laundry or dry-cleaning processes as requested.
LOSS OR DAMAGE POLICY
Notification of Loss or Damage: Any claims for lost or damaged Items must be reported to TheLaundryMart via our support email (hello@laundrymart.com) or customer service within 48 hours of receiving your cleaned Items. Please provide proof of ownership and a detailed description of the loss or damage.
Liability Limit: In the unfortunate event that an Item is lost or damaged by TheLaundryMart due to our negligence, our liability shall be limited to a maximum of 10 times the charge for cleaning that specific Item, regardless of brand, age, or condition. This is subject to providing the original purchase bill for the item. Without a bill, the compensation will be at our sole discretion based on the current market value of a similar item, up to the aforementioned limit.
We will not be liable for any pre-existing damage to Items or for damage resulting from your failure to adhere to these Terms (e.g., leaving items in pockets, not following care instructions if you provide specific incorrect instructions).
UNCOLLECTED ITEMS
We will make reasonable attempts to contact you to arrange for the delivery of your cleaned Items.
Items not collected or for which delivery cannot be completed within 60 days from the date of the initial attempted delivery or notification of completion (whichever is later) will be considered abandoned.
TheLaundryMart reserves the right to dispose of abandoned Items as we see fit, without any liability to you. This may include donation to charity or other means of disposal.
USER ACCOUNTS (If applicable)
If you create an account on our website or app, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Please ensure that the details you provide are accurate and complete.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our website and mobile application, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TheLaundryMart or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Service or content without express written permission from us.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheLaundryMart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TheLaundryMart, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
AMENDMENTS TO TERMS
TheLaundryMart reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on our website.
Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms and your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

FORCE MAJEURE
TheLaundryMart shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
